Colorado loves its beer. With 334 microbreweries, we produce 11.1 gallons of beer per adult – 5th in the nation! ¹ The beer culture here has been steadily growing over the past decade and exploding since 2013. Microbreweries in Colorado Springs keep up with this trend by providing a fabulous selection of craft brews just about anywhere you turn.
It started with individuals brewing beer they couldn’t find anywhere else and creating unique concoctions to suit specific tastes. Those most passionate about beer launched their own microbrewery and invited anyone who would want something different to try their creations and join the “craft beer revolution”.
The Revolution Continues
As of early 2018, new microbreweries in Colorado Springs are still popping up. Many beer enthusiasts (as well as those that just occasionally enjoy a brew) love the fact that Colorado Springs offers such a large selection of microbreweries in multiple locations and thus creating a wonderfully diverse beer-universe. Now neighborhood breweries are the latest trend. They bring their passion to their neighbors and make sipping amazing beer easier than ever. It just keeps getting better and better for the beer enthusiast in Colorado Springs.
Here is a list of microbreweries in Colorado Springs (and a few surrounding communities) as of January 2018. Note: I have excluded the larger restaurants and beer locations such as Phantom Canyon, Colorado Mountain Brewery, and Rock Bottom Brewery. However, feel free to add those to your list as well if you want good beer and a great dinner!
