The dog days of summer haven’t yet arrived in Colorado Springs, but it’s a great time of year for dog owners to take their canine companions to any of the wonderful dog parks throughout our city. It’s not surprising to find so many options since Colorado Springs is one of the most pet friendly cities in the country. You’ll find a list below of options varying from standard dog parks to fully fenced, off leash areas spanning multiple acres.

  • Clean up after your pup. It’s not just city ordinance, it’s considerate to the fellow dog owners utilizing the dog park.
  • Keep pups on leash unless in designated leash free areas.
  • Stay aware of areas designated for specific sizes. Many parks have separate areas for small dogs.
