How big is Colorado Springs?

Colorado Springs has a land area of 194.9 square miles. In 2021 the estimated population was 483,596. Colorado Springs is the most extensive municipality in Colorado. It ranks as the second most populous city in the state of Colorado, behind Denver, and the 40th most populous city in the United States.

What county is Colorado Springs in?

Colorado Springs is the largest city in El Paso County.

What is the elevation of Colorado Springs?

Downtown Colorado Springs is 6,035 feet above sea level although some areas of the city are significantly higher or lower. In contrast, the Colorado Springs Vibes Baseball team stadium, located in the northeast part of the city is 6,531 feet above sea level and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in the southwest part of the city is 6,800 feet above sea level.
