Colorado Springs Artist
During the Parade of Homes, Hi Point Home Builders featured a local artist in watercolors:
Eric Fetsch.
His work was displayed all over the home (which won the Parade of Homes 2016 Peoples Choice Award) in various sizes and received much praise from our Parade Home visitors. While at the Parade Home Eric held workshops for our visitors and earned raving reviews from our guests.
Eric Fetsch introduces himself:
I enjoy producing artwork that helps others find the Wow Factor that means Colorado to them. My artwork is shown in three locations in Colorado Springs:
- Boulder Street Gallery 206 N Tejon in downtown
- Consign and Design 975 Garden of the Gods Rd.
- Febras Art and Clothing Boutique 2532 W Colorado Ave in Old Colorado City
Painting in Watercolor on traditional paper with mats and frames works very well for smaller subjects. To go big and have some real fun I paint on canvas, in all sizes and dimensions. 24 x 36, 30 x 50 sizes are very popular as are unique depths up to 2 1/2. The edges of the canvas are painted to blend with the main subject and add a three dimensional quality to the work.
I really like conducting regular Watercolor Workshops to teach others some of the techniques and methods that I have discovered working with a variety of national caliber artists over the years.

We have people from 8-80 years of age, current and former watercolor painters and those who just want to give it a try for the first time. I keep the Workshops to a 2 1/2 hour time limit and everyone gets to go home with a finished painting or two. Everything is supplied so just come and have fun.
