Sweetwater Flower Studio Workshops

We absolutely love the gorgeous flower arrangements that Sweetwater has built their reputation on. Have you had a chance to stop by their flower markets? They have locations in Northgate and Old Colorado City where you can pick up beautiful flowers and browse their thoughtfully curated giftshops. But did you know they also have a studio that offers regular workshops? They have fun classes like flower arranging, wreath making, wine pairing, candle pouring, sketching and more.

Women’s Bean Project 

This Denver-based nonprofit “provides job training and employment to women facing significant barriers to work.” They offer a wide variety of natural, minimally processed food items such as soup mixes, snacks, baking kits, and instant meals. Their gift sets are a great holiday gift option and they ship nationwide. But order soon: their standard shipping deadline for Christmas arrival is December 12.

Bare Goods

Each lovely and unique item at Bare Goods is thoughtfully handcrafted by Taylor out of her garage in the foothills of Colorado. Hapke’s Hortum

Clay and Lauren Hapke are the team behind this houseplant store in the heart of Old Colorado City. They select plants appropriate for Colorado and provide care instructions simple enough for those with black thumbs out there. Their shop also hosts workshops where you can make your own airplant snowglobe or paint a pot for your new plant friend.

Katie Garrison Art 

Katie hand-paints each of her impressionist landscape pieces in her Colorado Springs studio. Her pieces feature Colorado and other beautiful places like Yosemite, Glacier, Rhode Island and more. Sweet Elizabeth’s Organics

Owner Elizabeth’s journey with Celiac Disease inspired her to create nutrition packed, allergen free baked goods. Their facility is free from gluten, dairy, soy, corn, peanut, egg and tree nuts (except for coconut). This is huge for anyone who navigates food allergies! The bakery on Unitah Street offers breads, cakes, and treats along with breakfast and lunch options. You can shop online for their cake, waffle/pancake, and cookies mixes.

All About the Suds

This delightful boutique in Northgate offers handmade bath and shower treats. The store’s owner, Debbie, is a cancer survivor and wanted to create safe and fun products. You might actually think you’ve walked into a candy store or ice cream shop. Their soap treats come in fun shapes like cupcakes, macarons, donuts and more.

Dana Danielson is the chef behind Alpine Culinary which is a favorite among our clients. Choose from an array of services like weekly meal prep, cooking classes or private dining. We think the weekly meal prep would be a wonderful gift for busy families or young professionals.

Springs Culture Kombucha 

Founder Janie Otero started brewing her own kombucha after navigating a rare cancer diagnosis. Springs Culture has fun flavors like Cardi P, Ginger Stepchild, and Butterfly Pea, and their website offers several recipes for “Boochtails”. You can order growlers or mason jars of their ‘booch as a thoughtful gift for the health conscious person on your gift list.
